Aryna Sabalenka

Sabalenka was born in Belarus in Minsk. Sergey, her father (who died in the year 2019), was an ice-hockey player. Aryna Sabalenka was born Minsk, Belarus on May 5th of 1998. Over the course of her career, she's achieved 12 WTA singles titles. One of them was a Grand Slam at the 2023 Australian Open. Doubles is another aspect where she has a great record. It was the US Open 2019, and Australian Open 2021 were both achieved by Elise. Mertens. Additionally, she was able to complete her Sunshine Double in 2019, taking her the WTA 1000 at Indian Wells, Miami and the Australian Open with Elise Mertens. Just four pairs of women's tennis could have done this achievement. In January 2023, she attained her highest rating in singles. On 23rd August, 2021 she moved to the second spot in the rankings. She rose up to the top of singles rankings the next year after taking the title in Melbourne. This made her the second Belarusian tennis athlete to achieve success in the field. She was coached by an ex- Russian tennis player Dmitry Tursunov from 2018 until the conclusion of the 2019 season and partly in the first quarter of 2020. Dieter Kindlmann was in a brief stint as her partner in August of 2020 until September. She is being trained by her fellow countryman Antonio Dubrov since the end of 2020. Serena Williams, and Maria Sharapova have been her biggest idols.
